kruger national park is home to 147 mammals including the big 5, 502 bird species and 114 reptile species. on this 4 day trip you will moreover see some other highlights: on the way to kruger national park you visit the kapama cheetah centre in hoedspruit that is home to many endangered species. you are accommodated in an exclusive camp that is located just a few kilometres away from kruger's orpen gate. here you sleep comfortably while listening to the sounds of the wild and hear lions roaring and hyenas and jackals calling. you end this day with a night game drive that lets you meet lots of nocturnal animals. the next two days you spend discovering kruger national park on game drives in an open 4x4 safari vehicle. breakfast and lunch are served inside the park and in the evening a delicious dinner awaits you in the boma of your camp. on the last day you visit the third largest canyon in the world, the blyde river canyon, before your african adventure is ended in johannesburg. day 1 johannesburg | kapama cheetah centre | camp just outside kruger's orpen gate
