health
of course, we want you to have a healthy enjoyment of your african experience! most of our tours are quite adventurous and therefore you should be in good health to participate.

we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your local health authority and that you have the necessary vaccinations before you arrive in africa. the requirements vary between the countries you travel and change quickly at times. usually the list of vaccinations includes tetanus, diphtheria, polio, hepatitis A and B, typhoid, meningitis, rabies, yellow fever and malaria.

malaria is a real concern in many areas of africa, especially during the rainy season. our advice is simple: prevent getting bitten by using an insect repellent and use an effective prophylactic. speak to your doctor before selecting your malaria prophylaxis.

please note that neither elements nor the tour operator can be held responsible should you get sick on your holidays with us.
