zambezi airlines expands operations

zambia's leading domestic airline zambezi airlines will become a regional carrier in southern africa. tanzania's dar es salaam and south africa's johannesburg are the first new destinations for the young airline. zambezi airline is based in zambia's lusaka and began operations in july 2008. lusaka is the main hub and so far destinations included ndola, livingstone, kitwe and chipata in zambia.
the flight from lusaka and ndola to johannesburg are already available and the airline will operate on full schedule from 20 june 2009. there will be double daily flight on the route from lusaka to johannesburg, four flights per week between ndola and johannesburg and three flights from lusaka to dar es salaam. for travellers the route between livingstone and johannesburg will be of big interest, because most tours finish or start in livingstone. zambezi airlines will service this route three times per week.
