bazbus tickets
bazbus is south africa's famous backpacker bus and gives you the option of travelling individually without your own car. on the bazbus you always meet lots of other travellers and have great fun. the most important travel destinations in south africa are covered by the bazbus route and the bus drops you off and picks you up at the hostel of your choice. popular destinations far away from the route, such as eg. coffee bay and stellenbosch, can be reached conveniently by shuttle buses. the booking of your seat is made very easy and can even be done by sms.
you have the choice between two types of tickets: hop-on/hop-off tickets or travel passes. with the hop-on/hop-off tickets you can stop as often as and wherever you like on the wy to your final destination. travelling can only be done in one direction and between durban and johannesburg you can choose between driving over swaziland or the drakensberg mountains.
travel passes are limited to a certain travel time of 7, 14 and 21 days. within this time frame you can stop as many times as you want and travel forward and backward if you like.
